Sozialkunde, Gemeinschaftskunde oder Politische Bildung ist ein Unterrichtsfach an allenallgemeinbildenden Schulen. Seine Inhalte umfassen u.a. die Themenbereiche Gesellschaft, politische Ordnung der BRD, Wirtschafts- und Rechtsordnung, internationale Politik und Probleme der Globalisierung.
Organisatorisch wird Sozialkunde als Einzelfach oder im Fächerverbund mit den „Nachbarfächern“ Geschichte, Geographie und Wirtschaft unterrichtet.
