Sean Banville hat jetzt seine Seite ESL Holiday Lessons komplettiert und bietet für das ganze Jahr fertig didaktisierte Lesson Plans zu allen erdenklichen Fest-, Feier- und Gedenktagen. Neben dem Tapescript sind verfügbar - die Unterrichtsvorschläge im *.doc oder *.pfd-Format, eine MP3-Audiodatei und pre-, while-, post reading-/listening activities sowie Hausaufgabenvorschläge

Dies ist ein interessanter Link für den Englischunterricht, Kl. 9/10 und höher.
Der in Japan lebende Brite Sean Banville steht jeden Morgen um 3 Uhr nachts auf, um in aller Frühe die breaking news aus aller Welt zu sichten. Daraus macht er dann in Windeseile einen Lesetext für Schüler in 2 Schwierigkeitsstufen, fügt noch schnell einen Hörtext dazu, diverse Übungen zu Grammatik, Wortschatz, Leseverstehen, Dialogarbeit, einzeln und in Partnerarbeit zu lösen, weiterführende Aufgaben, (mit Lösungen!!!) und setzt das Ganze tagesaktuell wahlweise als bearbeitbare word-Datei oder als pdf-Datei zum Runterladen ins Netz.
Habe heute erstmalig solch einen Text samt Aufgaben runtergeladen. 11 Seiten - da ist wirklich für jeden was dabei, für mehrere Stunden zu einem Thema, oder einfach für eine echt sinnvolle Vertretungsstunde...
Was will man mehr - und das alles jeden Tag neu, kostenlos und ohne sich registrieren zu müssen. Dieser Link wird vorgeschlagen von klexel

Sean Banville hat mit "News English Lessons" eine weitere tolle Seite online gestellt:
